Need to get the Christmas tree!

I don't know about you but once the crafting ideas start flowing, it's hard to shut them off. Especially around Christmas. Here is a fun little project I did a couple of nights ago. All I needed were little socks, vintage postcards, tinsel and feathers.

Have you got your Christmas tree ?

We haven't! Usually we head up to the mountain with friends, the week-end following Thanksgiving. Of course, the tree stays on the deck for at least a week before it comes into the house as I'm not ready to put it up yet! So maybe I am on schedule!

This year was so busy that tree chopping didn't happen. So now we will most likely buy our tree off a lot. I don't know it doesn't sound as festive as looking for it up on the mountain. But, you got do what you've go to do! If I wasn't so cheap, a tree farm sounds pretty good too, we'll see! One more thing that needs to get done this week.

Christmas Show 2008

I've been busy at Monticello this week setting up for the Christmas Show. I am finally done and I was able to go in today and take pictures of my area. I debated whether to have you scroll down looking at pictures or to set up an album. I decided an album might be better. I hope you will enjoy them. It was so fun to put everything together. You will find many of the hand crafted items I've been working on in these photos also.

I will post more picture later of all the fabulous gals and their beautiful items.
Remember the show opens up tomorrow at 8:00am. See you there!

Setting Up At Monticello

Well, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I was hoping to participate in "Black Friday". I always head off to Fred Meyers to buy everyone socks, not this year. I came down with the stomach flu! Boy, do I hate being sick! Fortunately it was a 24 hour flu and I was on the move the next day. I had so much to do, I didn't have time to be lying around.

I've been setting up this week at Monticellos, getting ready for the big show. It should be beautiful. I'll be sure to take pictures so I can share it with those of you who can't make it.

I'll leave you with a sweet picture of my great niece, she is so beautiful. Her grandpa is holding her. Boy, that sounds strange, because I'm only 29 (or so). Where does the time go?

Thank you for stopping by!
