Spring is definitely in the air!
Today was a beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest.
I opened the windows...and the kitty cats ran to them dreaming of what it would be like to be outside.
Yesterday, I picked up a few bouquets of flowers.
I loved the color of these roses.
Almost a creamy beige color.
On another note, I didn't do any estate shopping today but I hit the Re-builders store and found this pretty ceiling light.
The light had a very 70's glass shade on it, which had to go, so I replaced it with this pretty vintge shade.
It needs to be re-wired and cleaned up, but I think it's very pretty.
I hope you have a wonderful week-end and find a bunch of treasures.
The picture above are flowers my father gave me.
A few years back he had a heart attack and while in the hospital he suffered a stroke.
Because of the stroke he lost most of his vision so he does not drive anymore.
Each year on Valentine'sDay he buys my mother carnations.
This Valentine's Day he ask me to pick him up two bouquets of red carnations.
When I arrived at the house to make my delivery he met me outside with a special card and said, "One of these bouquets is for you."
So sweet!
My dad is 82 years old.
I love him a whole bunch!
Thanks dad for the flowers and the card.
I'll start off by saying....I have a very small bathroom.
It's not luxurious but it does what it's supposed to do, so all is good.
There is one little girl in our home that...LOVES...the bathroom!
We call it her "Happy Place".
Everytime someone in the family heads to the bathroom it's a race to see who can get there first.
She loves the faucet...she loves the small little drips that come down from the faucet...she loves fresh water.
It's delicious!
At this point I'll tell you that there will be quite a few pictures.
But I had a request for "Baby" pictures so I took a lot a few.
This is one of my favorite baskets.
It's a great size for hiding all that Costco toilet paper.
Baby likes to contemplate there.
She likes to wait for her next victim to walk by...especially if her victim has a long furry tail.
She also loves the shower curtain.
It's also a great place to sit and wait for furry creatures to pass by.
Since this photo shoot is taking place in the bathroom I'll show you a few other things in here.
My #1 put this towel holder together using old door knobs.
I love the look of it but wet towels don't seem to stay on it, especially in such tight quarters.
So, I hang an old hanger on the knob with a couple of clothespins and it works pretty slick!
Besides that, I have a thing for old hangers so it's a great way to use them.
Here is an old piece of silver I use for holding our toothbrushes.
The opening was big enough that I could place an old porcelain frog into and the toothbrushes stand upright.
We hope you have a great evening!
