Besides the zillions of other things on my mind, Christmas has moved it's way to the top of the list.
In less then 2 months we will be involved in the Christmas Show at Monticello.
So, I am on the look out for great items to bring to the show.
I'm also busy crafting!
Here is what my dining room floor looks like right now.
At least part of it!
I haven't even taken the time to unload my treasures from this week-end.
So, I'll show you some of the bigger items that couldn't fit inside the bags.
I got into a huge box of cork.
This is an item that comes in handy.
But, because there are so many I may have to find some great old jars and fill up a few.
This big squishy needlepoint pillow was another find.
I love this old tree stand, my #1 found.
Vintage Christmas, don't you just love it, especially when it comes in muted colors.
Isn't it wonderful!
I love the colors and the decal.
This is before it was cleaned up.
I couldn't pass up this wonderful old base to a floor lamp.
It just had all the great things I enjoy, chippy, cream and cast iron.
Any creative uses for this?
I'd sure love to hear from you.
Then lastly, an old suitcase.
Underneath are a couple of projects from the previous week still waiting to be done.
There are enough projects here to keep me busy!
But alas, I have school, so I'm off to 1st grade.
Talk to you later!

Vintage Christmas Tree stand is number one in my book (glad your #1 found it...give him a high five from me)! Busy with Christmas crafting on this end too...will be leaving a path of glitter as I go for a couple of months.....tis the season.
oh you got great treasures! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the tree stand!
Hugs, Lisa
Great to be busy!
2 ideas for the floor lamp base...saw off the rod, cover the hole and sit a glass vase with candle on the base, or, if you could somehow mount it to a wall over a bed it could be used to hang pretty nets as a canopy. Love to know what you end up doing with it.
What wonderful finds! Love the vintage tree stand!
I also enjoy your blog as well.
I spent nearly an hour looking through your blog and I'll be back for more.
That tree stand is an amazing find Debbie! That needlepoint pillow is way cool too!
Hugs,
June

Ooooo ....
Debbie! First you had me with all of the white bottle brush trees - and then that ADORABLE old lamp base! I know envy is a bad thing, and turning green is SO unflattering .... still .... (smile!)
hugs!
Betty :)
Show me a Bottle brush tree and the Christmas wheels of creativity start spinning.
I look forward to see your creations with the corks. I've a few in my collection too.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
I've actually seen mini Christmas trees on old metal lamp bases. I hope to do a post as we get closer to December. I'll let you know when I do, I think you'll enjoy it.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
