Well, today I'm joining the Flea Marketeer Party!
A very fun event hosted by the people at the Flea Market blog.
I was pretty bummed out this week-end as I had a class to take and was not going to be able to hit the sales early in the morning, like I usually do.
This meant my #1 would be out searching alone until I could join him.
Poor guy, he has such a hard time trying to figure out what I want.
I thought I had him pretty trained.
He did come home with some pretty sweet postcards though.
I do appreciate all his effort!
When I was finally done with my class, I went to a couple of sales and was pretty disappointed as I didn't find anything.
I made up for it the next day, Sunday.
After church my #1 and I headed north to a sale we didn't go to the previous day.
All I can say is, "SCORE"!
Half price too!
We were able to get so many great things for the Christmas Show at Monticello.
Many of these things were on my "need to find" list.
We were able to take the wonderful old metal bed and one of the tables immediately to Monticello which is always nice, two less things to store here at home.
I picked up some pretty tablecloths at another sale.
I love these old cast iron "things" I'm not sure what they are called but I love them!
Here is an old wicker carriage and a vintage wood cage.
And last but not least, these two clip boards.
This particular kind seems very hard to find so I was very pleased to find two on Saturday.
Thank you so much for coming by and seeing what I found this week-end!
Be sure to jump over to the other participants in the blog party!

Wow!! Great finds! I believe your cast iron thingies are invoice {bill} holders. We had a really old hardware store in my hometown, and they had one of those on the desk with envelopes etc. in the spiral part. have a great week *elaine*

That bed is fabulous! I can think of a zillion ways I'd use it just as a decoration. Congrats on all the great finds.

ohhh nice cast iron things, very rustic looking. You scored big time!
Those cast iron pieces are wonderful! They remind me of old toast racks. I would've snapped those up in a heartbeat!
I like the clipboards a lot, but everything else you found is great, too!

PS: I am so in love with that vintage Christmas tree stand......ahhhh...it is sooo cute!
The clipboards!!! Aah, I love them. I have a (ahem) thing for office supplies and equipment. Hence all of the little packages of stickers and seals and paper reinforcers (I could go on!) I have squirreled away! Fun to find fellow "flea marketeers!"
Score indeed! I can't wait for the Monticello Christmas show - it's always *spectacular*! -amy
Hi Debbie,
how many great finds! What i love most is the crochet tableclothes (my mother-in-law has a whole bunch of them but never occurred to her that she could share with me LOL) and those sweet postcards. Old postcards can convey so many feelings dedspite the fact that of course the people were only posing...
good night
