Wednesday Whites

I thought for White Wednesday I'd show you a few things I picked up this past month.

The first thing is this fun Marmalade crock.

A sweet piece to hold lavender, hopefully the kitty cats won't get into it...disaster!

The next piece, which I'm really enjoying, is this great turntable.

It wasn't originally a turntable.

I believe it was the top of an old wooden keg.

I loved the whole look of the old wood and knew what I wanted to do with it.

A couple of weeks later my #1 found a turntable, which wasn't as pretty, and we married the two...and I love it.

Another little project I did was take a few old books that had some pretty ugly covers and cover them with paper.

I then printed the title of the books, with the font I liked, and placed the title behind the paper.

You can faintly see the title through the paper.

I might eventually get a fine point pen and transfer the font onto the paper cover, but not today.

Thank you for stopping by.
