A good busy though!
Sunday we decided to head to Eugene to visit my sister-in-law Kathy and her family.
We wanted to take a peek at their new store which will officially open the beginning of September.
We had a great time seeing the place and visiting. It was fun to dream and bounce ideas off each other.
Our tastes are very similar so ideas flow pretty easily.
Kathy is an ultra talented lady so this shop will be amazing.
It is going to be a wonderful place to shop in the Eugene area.
I hope you will stop by when you're in town and visit them.
In the mean time you can stop by their blog at Colby Cottage and get updates of the progress they are making.
You will also be updated on events, products etc...
It will be a real treat!
On a little different note, everyone needs a break now and then.
So we talked Kathy and the kids into coming to Portland for an overnighter and just hang out, shop etc...
This is one of the stops we made.
(This picture was taken before the kids hit the pool!)
Our friend, Jean, who is so generous, invited all the kiddos to come over for a swim.
The temperature in Portland has been in the 90's so it was a great way to cool off.
Besides being a good friend, Jean is a very talented lady and artist.
I wanted to show you a few pictures from her studio.
I ended up with quite a few blurry pictures but here are a few.
I love the sweet vintage curtain she attached to this cabinet!
Wasn't this a fun idea.
Here is a vintage metal stool and on top of it a pretty lacy skirt.
Another wonderful idea!
And last one of her many beautiful paintings.
I'm hoping sometime to take pictures of the rest of her home as every corner is bursting with creative talent.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

What a fun friend to have and see her studio where she creates. You'll have to tell us more about the shop that is opening in Eugene.
Hi Debbie , I hope we can get to Kathy's store when we head down to Coburg. The window at Monticello is lovely! And you've been selling out of there right and left , too! See you ! Sue
