Of course one of my stops was a thrift store. I believe I found what appears to be new "old stock" of millinery flowers. Each set of flowers was still bagged up with the price tags all in a row waiting to be put on the product. I always think it's kind of humorous, blue roses. I've never seen blue roses at any nursery. Maybe I need to get out a little more. I thought these green ones were pretty, I actually like this color. Each bag came with a yellow card. Maybe someone out there knows something about this company and can tell me the scoop! Well, I guess that's all for now. I just wanted to share with you my latest find. You just never know what you'll find at those thrift stores. Happy Thrifting!

How fun!
There is a Howell's Home and Floral in Portland off Airport way. I think it's the same company, they have been around since 1952 and have an excellent selection of floral and ribbons.

Jennifer is right. They used to be over in NW and then moved out towards the airport. I run out there every once in awhile. Good find.
Beat by Jennifer & Laurie again!! The name on the tag rang a bell in my brain...my Mom used to do hats w/ a longtime friend..her name was Tekla {sp?}. To keep me occupied while they sewed, Tekla would give me a box or bag filled w/amazing bits & pieces...ribbon & lace & flowers!! I could make whatever I wanted! Thanks for the memory blog jog!! *elaine*
wow.....you hit it big today. I love that green too!
Oooh! Those are very pretty flowers!
Blessings,
Sandra
Cool roses! Great finds!
Hugs, Lisa
What a great find! I don't think I've ever seen a blue rose either...

What fun you will have with all of those...but the blue ones I have don't do much to inspire me.
Your spoon ring is *sweeeet*...my daughter picked one up at Farm Chicks. They would be fun to make but have you figured out how to bend the silverware?
