I set out with my list in hand ready to estate shop.
The first sale I went to was a bit discouraging as everything was overpriced.
There were some great things but I just couldn't do it at those prices.
As you will see the day did get better.
I didn't get a lot of small items but a little larger ones.
But, that's good too!
Here are a few smalls.
One of my most favorite finds were these large pictures, dated 1901 and 1896.
They are quite old the back paper is very fragile.
One is a Paul de Longpre the other one does not have a name but it appears to be the same artist.
I just love his pictures.
Here was a fun piece I found in the garage.
This piece measures about 4.5'x4'.
It needs a little work but I know my #1 can figure that one out!
My next stop I found a wonderful old dresser with a mirror.
This piece is still in the truck so I just snapped a small photo.
Here is a fun piece for the top of a desk or maybe in a studio.
So, all in all a pretty good day!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I almost bought that last piece with your cat sitting on it. Thought it was adorable, but don't have a spot for it at all. Glad it went to you! I totally struck out today.
Sometimes it just takes a few sales to get the ol' mo-jo going.
Love the florals!! The slotted piece looks like something from an old hotel - perhaps for keys or mail?
Have a great weekend!
