They weren't just any curtains, they were from Rachell Ashwell's line.
Since I had decided to go all white in the bedroom, I was no longer using them.
And I so loved the fabric!
Well, she decides to make a blouse!
I've wanted to make a few different blouses as I just can't seem to find what I want in the stores.
A lot of times I see what I want in a magazine, but then go to the website and they do not offer the item I wanted.
(french model)
My criteria was, feminine, something that covers my "tush" and maybe some ruffles.
I love the ruffles that at the bottom of this blouse.
I don't know ruffles and Rachell Ashwell they just go together.
Oh yes, lace would be good too!
So now that took care of one panel!
Just three more to go!
I've got to think about that one!

Hi, love this sweet blouse you made with that gorgeous RA fabric....so rosey and feminine :)
What a great idea! So pretty and feminine.
So pretty! How about some pillow covers for a porch chair or swing?

To quote Steel Magnolia's that is "too cha cha for words". If you stick with the clothing thing...how about making some of those cute bloomers I've seen at Magnolia Pearl?
Of course you wouldn't wear them together....did I need to say that?
Your blouse is adorable. I know what you mean about trying to find blouses that are different and that feel good on.
Great idea to make one for yourself.

I will never get rid of any of my Rachell Ashwell linens. I'm hoping to someday have an armoir to display them all piled up in. I have that same pattern 'rosalie' in a slipcover for a sofa, tableclothes, table runners, toss pillows. I really only use the toss pillows now. I have shower curtains and curtains in other R.A prints that I no longer use, except for the occational garden or tea party. They are too pretty to get rid of and I believe they are timeless. You could make toss pillows or table runners with your curtain panels...even a picnic basket liner would be cute!
*SQUEAL*!! How cute!!
Hi Debbie,
Very cute! Guess what I picked up the exact same panels at goodwill the other day & been wondering what to do w/ them!? too funny! I'd love to make a little top like that.....how'd you come up w/ a pattern??
