Neutrals and Pastels ~ I Love It All !

Don't you just love the different neutral tones?

I sure do!

When I'm out treasure hunting those are the colors I'm looking for.

But then I spot the soft pastels and I totally loose myself in the sweet soft colors of pinks and aqua green etc...

If you were to step into my living room you'd see someone who loves the neutral tones but has a passion for anything pink.

So I try and combine the two.

In one corner we have the neutral tones and throughout the other parts of the living room and house for that matter are my pastels.

I just love it all!

I picked up something that I wouldn't have normally picked up this week-end.

These sweet dogs were in wonderful condition and brought a smile to my face.

So they came home with me.

These are from the 1940's and were given to patients in the hospitals.

Aren't they cute!

It would have almost made going to the hospital a little fun!

Love those little Red Cross nurses hats!

A place for everyone to sign, how fun is that!

I hope each of you have a wonderful week!

My week will be so busy as my son is involved in a Willy Wonka play and dress rehearsals are every night this week.

I'm on the make-up committee so it requires being there every night.

Whew, I think I'm tired just talking about it.

The play opens on Friday and it should be a lot of fun!

So, if you're in the Portland area and enjoy plays be sure to check it out!

I am so with you on the neutrals...and yes...when I spot soft pastels I am equally as drawn in. I just found a little bookcase in a pale shade of aqua for only 5.00 that I just had to have! Those little dogs are too cute and I certainly would have taken them too! Wonderful finds!

Those cute doggies are known as "Autograph Hounds" and they were commonly used during the time of school graduations. My sister had one autographed by her classmates. :)
I've never seen the ones with " Get Well" Really cute!

Oh my goodness, I almost lost it. I had a dog like that when I was a child. I had forgotten about it - thanks for bringing back some very happy memories and a smile.

I so love the neutrals you've shown and very pale colors. Glad to have found your blog. Happy week!

I thought I was in a minority who thought light pink and sagie green were neutrals! What a flashback for those little doggies... I haven't connected where or who yet but I know I have seen those before way back when!
