I Found What Appears To Be Another Collection!

Ok, I think it's another obsession or maybe I should say collection!

I went into my studio today to find a pattern, just one pattern, that didn't seem too difficult.

Of course, I only use it around Christmas time.

I guess I must put it in a different place each time, as I didn't find it!

But what I did find was an ever growing collection of apron patterns.

Holy Moly, somebody stop me!

I think I've only used one of these patterns and that's been a few years back.

But, I  do love picking them up!

I enjoy the vintage pictures as much as anything.

So, I guess for the time being I'll continue to snatch them up because someday....yes someday ..... I just might use one of them!

You are not alone- I love them, too! Maybe we should have an apron sewing day?

Oh my.....a girlie after my own heart. I should NEVER buy anything ahead of time (I love sale shopping) because I can never find it when I need it....and my apron pattern collection is growing like crazy too! Yikes! I hope you find what you were looking for...and that reminds me to go dig out my apron patterns. Wouldn't they be fun to make for Christmas?

Warm blessings,
Spencer

Hi, Debbie!
I didn't know about you and aprons ... honestly! If I had I would've MADE SURE you were at Deepwood in Salem last month. We had Bobbe Schafer come and talk at our tea .... slide show with vintage apron patterns, apron fashion show ... you get the idea .... and she was FAB! Finally, with hundreds of patterns in her collection, you would have felt like you had freedom to collect with abandon! Her website www.bobbeschafer.com .... I'll let you know if we have her back in the spring ...
Hugs!
Betty :)

Aprons makes me think of June Cleaver!!! And, of course, my Mother wearing them everyday.
They are so hard to resist.
Be sure and show us some of them that you have made.

Those are absolutely darling! I agree that the images on the front are just as fun as anything.

I am all for aprons and have one hanging in my kitchen - I don't cook without it!

you aren't alone!!!! i had a big suitcase so full of vintage patterns, that i could hardly close it...oh...and a drawer full too. i finally started decoupaging some of them onto things and using the patterns inside as wrapping paper and what not. my collection is smaller now, but i still have a couple of hat boxes full!!! i agree....the vintage graphics are so charming....what can you do but save them and pull them out from time to time and look at them. they are adorable!!!
cheers.

I love it! I love the vintage styles and pics! I'd love to copy those looks. Mishal makes and sells the most beautiful aprons at the local bazaars...
