Flowers For Mother

Did you have a great Mother's Day?

I hope you did!

We had a full house.

It was so fun having my sister and her family here. Unfortunately, a couple of her kids couldn't make it, and they were missed.

Our parents and my sister's parents in-law were also in our home this Mother's Day.

My #1 one made a fabulous meal consisting of his wonderful spaghetti sauce plus chicken alfredo etc... it goes on and on. He does such a great job!

On Saturday I had way too much fun buying flowers.

This was my hubbies gift to me. He didn't know it at the time but when the bill rang up to $75.00 I said to myself, "This can be my Mother's Day gift!" While still at the store I think I may have heard a sigh of relief from him, and he was at home!

He always has such a hard time figuring out what to do.

I was glad I could take this one off his hands!

And last, but not least here is a sweet frog I picked up this week-end while I was at the shop.

Another frog for my collection!

Hi Debbie,
Your day sounded wonderful. Yum! And you didn't even have to cook it. Double yum! I laughed about you buying your gift, I'm always doing that too. Hubs hates trying to figure out what I want, but I don't. I love the fact that you could hear his relief from so far away.
Hugs,
June

I see the lilac flowers, I love those, I have 3 bushes in the yard, but they haven't bloom to the fullest yet. You also had me laughing about the $75.00 gift you have given yourself for mother day. I have to admit I do the samething, actually I kind of prefer it that way.

Thanks for stopping by-

Have a wonderful day!

I always buy my spring flowers for my windowbox and call it my mother's day gift. Easy and is something I need to plant. Great minds think alike!!!!!!

How delightful you had such an enjoyable Mother's Day. My hubby was always a 'last minute at midnight' shopper for every gift ... I relieved him from that 'event' by asking to just buy me a card & I'll do the shopping ... hubby never knew what to buy unless I told him, so this is more fun to have the freedom to choose by myself.

Pop over for a visit. I love your blog.
