Platters & Soap

Old white platters...

Don't you love them!

I've sold many and have only kept a few.

Sometimes I wish I would have kept many and sold only a few.

Homemade soap...

I like that too!

There was a time when I made soap... you know one of those many things that I just had to try!

But alas, I can't do everything!

But, it's fun to try!

Happy White Wednesday!

Be sure to pop over to Kathleens and visit all of the participants, you'll enjoy it!

What lovely photos of your white platters.
I have thought about making soap too, but like you said, we can't do everything! LOL. We do try though, don't we.

Two of my favorites also. I know what you mean about platters. Hope you are selling lots at Monticello's. Your space is amazing!

Enjoy your week.

What a beautiful WW post, Debbie! Your pictures are making my heart go pitty-pat (sigh)! I love white ironstone platters, and yours look so lovely! I love the look of homemade soap, but we don't have any good suppliers around here. I'm going to have start searching the online shops for some. :) I've always wanted to try homemade candles... one of these days. ;o)
I hope you're having a great week,
Hugs ~ Jo

Hi Debbie,

I love the old white platters too...and yes, I made soap for a short time...just had to try it. I used to own a herd of dairy goats, miked twice a day and made French Chevre cheese. So naturally that led to goat's milk soap since I had 4 gallons a day flowing! hee hee Can't do everything is right.

I don't have my dairy goat herd any longer since we decided to settle on this mountain ridge. It's hard work and I was ready to rest and sew. :0)

I'm visiting for White Wednesday. I'd love for you to come over for a visit with me.

Have a wonderful day,
Stephanie ♥

Hi Debbie! Well, that's three things that we have in common! White, handmade soap, and vintage platters! lol! I just adore lavender soap, and am always on the search for some really fragrant ones! Just purchased some vintage white bowls that would look fantastic next to your platters, too! :) Happy WW!
