A Few Little Treasures

I went out this week-end and did a little treasure hunting.

I didn't find that many things, but that means I was able to save a little money!

Here are a couple favorite finds.

The first favorite is this wonderful frog my #1 found.

Of course this is a keeper.

I just love these old wire frogs.

This one is quite large measuring about 5" in diameter.

The second is a wonderful old book, called "The Girl Graduate".

This beautiful book belonged to Laurie Alexander, a graduate of Georgia Military College.

This is where she kept all her memories from college.

Here are some of the pages in this book.

This is dated 1909.

There are class photos, autographs, programs, invitations etc...

I just love these old brown pages.

And lastly, the other day when I walked into the house I found my furry little friend in a gift bag I had opened the night before.

Of course he was on my table, which is a "no-no", he doesn't seem to crasp that concept.

I couldn't resist taking a picture.

He made me chuckle!

And everyone needs a good chuckle now and then.

At least I know that I do!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Great finds...LOVE the frog! I'd even kiss a couple of princes to find one like that!! Your gift bag cat looks like a distant relative to mine...I love marmalade cats..mine is a rescue, and is so affectionate at times you literally have to dump him on the floor! Does yours "talk"? I have never had a more vocal cat than my FB. Have a great week *elaine*

I wonder who let the cat out of the bag?
