Bringing Home a Little Bit of France

Maybe I should say I found a little bit of France!

While out on the hunt today one of the sales I went to was the home of a French lady.

There were not a lot of things, as the family had taken many items, but that's as it should be.

I did manage to find some old French books though.

Another thing I found was a dress form.

I usually pass up these particular dress forms but this one was right up my alley.

Yes, it was French!

Do you see the label?

Love it!

Old wood screws.

A great old base.

Now I just need to decide if I exchange it with one that I have or take it to the shop.

On another note...I'm blogging this on my netbook.

I've been without it for a whole day!

I know that doesn't seem long but I love the fact that I can kick up my feet while with the family and still check out everyone's pretty blogs.

While surfing the internet Friday, looking for coloring pages for a project.

I encountered an awful virus!

Don't people have better things to do with there time then to create viruses!

(insert mad face!)

Awful things were popping up on my computer!

Fortunately, we have a wonderful friend that knows everything about computers and was able to fix it!

Thank you John!

He has fixed many a problem.

I'll get off my little rampage now and leave you with this picture I took the other night.

Mr. Riley thinks he has found the perfect spot to rest.

An old Bible I recently picked up!

Mr. Riley, we've gotta talk!!!

Ok, you'll think I'm silly, but when I saw your kitty on the Bible it reminded me of when I was young and I had this puppy that I desperately loved and wanted it to go to heaven when it died so I could be with it again. (I'm always thinking ahead!) Sooo, I brought out my Bible and 'barked' read out of it to my dog. Dogs do go to heaven right? And cats too! Lisa :-)

Oh My ! A FRENCH dress form? You will never find another, so you had better keep it or ask a mint! I have never seen one with a base like that...sweet!

I adore the photo of your cat on the books. We also have an orange kitty. He is 10 years old, weighs 20plus pounds (after a diet) and his name is Milo. We love him dearly. He is the sweetest thing - right now he is busy mothering our new kitten!!
