My Summer Project!

Do you have a room in your house that you just don't like?

A lot of us probably do.

For me that would be the bedroom.

I don't even like going in there as there is so much "stuff" everywhere.

Since my #1 let me take over the room that he had all his collectible hunting and fishing in, where did his things go.... that's right the bedroom.

We have a three bedroom home.

One room for us, one for our son and the other is my studio.

We just need a bigger house!

But until then, I'll appreciate what I have and work with what I've got!

Now that school is over, that is until Fall, my goal is to "LOVE" our bedroom again!

(another piece from French lady)

Here is a little chair I picked up last week-end.

It's my inspiration for my room.

White, peaceful and clutter free!

I like the sound of that.

Good luck with the room redo! It is nice to have the space look the way you want it to look. Good to see you today - hope you found some treasures.

Yes, Debbie--we all have a room like that, I think! Looking forward to seeing what you do with yours! I know you'll turn it into a beautiful haven...

What a lovely chair. We've just put a contract on a house this week. I too understand your feelings. We have a three bedroom older home, with a daughter in one room, and our son in the other. No sewing space here. But in the new house, there will be room. I wrote about it on my blog today.

So true...we all have that room we just hate! Mine is the unfinished playroom/family room. My youngest daughter has taken it over and she completely wrecks it each week! I can't even stand to look in there!
Good luck on your summer project. What a gorgeous chair and a great place to start from...GORGEOUS!!
Can't wait to see it when you get done! :) ~ Jo

Good luck withthe clutter free. I've been trying to do the same thing, but it hasn't been working very well. I just don't know where to start.

Hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend.
